Who We Are

Sophinat Medical Writing & Consulting offers a broad range of medical writing services. Whether you require regulatory documents, meeting minutes, professional presentations or you want to publish interesting results but lack the time to compile a manuscript, we will provide you with tailor-made solutions.

Sophinat Medical Writing & Consulting also offers expertise in pharmaceutical drug development, with a strong focus on preclinical R&D. Whether you need a study monitor, a temporary project team member, scientific input or troubleshooting, we will support your projects. If your project requires additional resources, we will collaborate with The NCD Company to meet your needs.

The company is located 30km East of Vienna, Austria, which is half-way between the Austrian capital city, Slovakia and Hungary, as well as amidst a cluster of slavonic minority villages. Living in this culturally diverse region, we naturally put great emphasis on using a costumized and respectful language to avoid cultural misunderstandings. It is our goal to increase your success, reputation and eventually patient compliance.

Sophinat Medical Writing & Consulting was founded by Dr. Alexandra Kopić in 2020.

Dr. Alexandra Kopić (maiden name: Schiviz) was born in 1980 in Upper Austria. She holds a Master and a Doctorate Degree in Veterinary Medicine, as well as a Master Degree in Pharmaceutical Medicine.

Working as a veterinarian, she gained experience in communicating with a diverse clientele, using clear verbal and written language. She also introduced folders on general health issues and individual treatment plans to enhance treatment compliance.

In 2006, Alexandra joined the non-clinical R&D department of Baxter (Baxalta, Shire).

As preclinical pharmakokinetics and pharmacodynamics expert, she designed non-clinical programs, compiled pre-clinical strategy review, authority briefing and regulatory submission documents, and chaired multi-disciplinary meetings.

As Head of in-vivo Pharmacology, she served as a GLP study director for in-house studies, as study monitor for outsourced studies, as liaison officer for research collaborations and was responsible for up to 27 staff members.

To enhance the visibility of the company’s product pipeline, she authored and co-authored approximately 20 peer-reviewed papers, numerous abstracts, posters and presentations to be shown at major international conferences as well as patent applications.
